This recipe unfortunately had no flavour although it used several spices, but still something missing. I’ve made curry chicken using a different recipe that was tastier and it did not use 3 tablespoons of curry powder (which seemed like a lot to me but I went along with it anyway). I will unlikely use this recipe again and will keep looking for better chicken curry recipes.

My family loved this recipe! I always make recipes exactly as written so I can give an honest review. I wouldn’t change a thing.

It was a big hit with my family. I used plain Greek yogurt, smoked paprika, ginger paste and browned my chicken pieces, before adding them into the curry. I also added the coconut milk and yogurt separately and wisked until smooth.

This is by far the best Indian Chicken Curry I have eaten. We added roasted potatoes, peppers and carrots too.

I won’t be making this again! Neither my husband or I enjoyed it. The lemon juice added at the end was overpowering plus was way too spicy for me. I had to add extra yogurt to mine. We threw the rest out.

One of the best recipes I’ve ever made

Chicken should have been cooked and seasoned first. No flavor. Had to add so much

This is the worst curry chicken I’ve ever tasted.

I honestly didn’t love this recipe. I can’t quite put a finger on what it’s missing. It was my first time making the dish, and next time I’ll try a different recipe.

Every spice in the dish is fighting each other, nothing is working in harmony like a true Indian dish. The sugar and cinnamon are fighting the curry powder, the coconut milk pushes out the would be spice of the cayenne and paprika, the garlic and ginger were nonexistent in the flavor, same with the onions. In the end it’s a sweetness to the curry that’s like a gorilla in a hot spring. Couldn’t even finish it which is unfortunate because for just cinnamon and bay leave I was set back 8$. In the end I spent around 20$ on a curry I wouldn’t eat if I was given 20$

Mine ended up really dry and grainy. I cooked at a high altitude and I wonder if this affected it. I added almost a cup and a half of chicken broth which saved it, but I saw that many other people had this same issue.

It was quite good. I made another curry dish last night. I was upset because it was so bland. This recipe had some really interesting melding of flavors. It had the feel of authentic Indian food. It smells exquisite while it is cooking.

Great taste! I did not add the lemon juice, as it tasted a bit tarty at that point. Next time I should add a little more sugar to even things out. It’s a keeper!

I just cooked it and it turned out delicious thanks for the recipe

Just made it, absolutely loved it, my go dish from now on. Thank you!

Simple and straightforward. We used powdered coconut milk since we had it on hand. We also added red bell peppers. And for condiments, peanuts, chutney, bananas, scallions, and raisins were perfect!

Sorry, this wasn’t very good. The spices didn’t blend smoothly into the sauce. It made enough for a couple of meals so it’ll get eaten but I won’t make it again.

So easy, but tastes like you spent hours preparing this delicious Indian Curry Chicken. I may turn up the heat a little to my liking but the recipe is a winner as is!

It’s okay. I like Indian food but not as much as my fiancé. I made this for him and he said it was okay but it had a powdery aftertaste like the seasoning wasn’t blended in well. I followed the recipe to a T. I myself took a few bites and was over it honestly. It’s simple and easy but you should just go get authentic Indian food or make an Indian friend that will give you a recipe

I thought this was delicious – I added more spice than in the recipe and much more ginger & lemon too – it was great xxxxx

Loved this recipe! I added red potatoes, which I think adds some extra bulk to it and tastes great. Next time I want to try adding some more vegetables to it.
