I doubled this recipe this time for a BBQ. Everyone was so impressed! I put a small mint leaf and a dollop of sour cream for each serving. The group said it was so delicious!!
GREAT easy Recipe!!!!
GREAT easy Recipe!!!!
So easy to make, and beyond delicious! I used low fat sour cram and low fat half and half, and you could never tell! My kids even love it! Can’t wait to serve it up this summer!!
Made for a bridal shower tea and it was great…add sugar to taste, I was able to get sweet berries so used less sugar, you don’t want dessert so add carefully.
Very easy and very refreshing and light! I used FF creamer and light sour cream and it was just as good. Definitely will do this one again! Thank you!
to remove the majority of the seeds and what’s left is really velvet. I add a teaspoon of macerated strawberries when I serve it in chilled bowls. No one has ever told me they didn’t care for it. And I’ve fed it to a couple of hundred people. Just seriously yummy.
Excellent recipe! We had to make a few adjustments due to ingredient availability, but it turned out awesome. Substituted plain yogurt for half and half (but increased the sugar, or Splenda, to 2/3 cup to account for the yogurt), and added a tablespoon of pure vanilla extract. The family (even the very picky father) enjoyed it. May try vanilla yogurt next time and nix the sweetner increase.
Nice summer soup. Always gets rave reviews at dinner parties. I do sometimes thin it up a bit with some champagne.
I had strawberry soup at a tea once, and was thrilled to find this recipe. It tasted just like what I had previously, and the people I shared it with enjoyed it very much. I’m taking it to a tea I am attending this weekend. Thanks!
This is a great treat! Every has loved it.
A wonderful summertime dessert. I may try this with raspberries. You can even use frozen berries for more convenience (just let them thaw a little before you use them).
