I make it every holiday and I’ve even convinced those that don’t like sweet potatoes to try it anyway and they love it as much as those of us that love sweet potatoes! I use a bit of pumpkin pie seasoning in the potatoes and instead of pecans i use pistachios ground/chopped up on top! Lovely and heavenly!

I have made this dish every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and once or twice during the year. This isn’t just a holiday dish, enjoy it year round. It’s also good for your taste buds.

Delicious! I did replace the white sugar with brown sugar and it was plenty sweet as well as added extra pecans, as I love them. I also decided to cook in a slightly smaller baking dish (11 3/4 x 7 1/2). Baked up so nice and fluffy!

My favorite sweet potato casserole recipe yet! I changed it slightly based on reviews. My changes: 1/3 cup of white sugar, 1/4 cup maple syrup, no milk, 1 egg, no vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, cook the pecan topping on the stove adding 1/4 cup of milk to all other topping ingredients, then pour over sweet potato mixture. Bake for 25 minutes at 350. Delicious
