Ingredients
- 2 apples, cored and quartered
- 3 bananas, broken into chunks
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- ⅓ cup dry red wine
- 2 tablespoons matzo meal, or as needed
Instructions
- Blend apples, bananas, dates, walnuts, orange zest and juice, lemon zest and juice, cinnamon, and sugar in a food processor until chunky. Transfer apple mixture to a bowl and stir in wine. Gradually stir matzo meal into apple mixture, adding enough to soak up the wine; chill in refrigerator.
- Substitute peanuts for walnuts if eating kitniyos.
