be sure to use heavy whipping cream and whip yourself, cool whip has extra sugar and makes it too sweet. I love this recipe because it’s so easy but impressive! Good with vanilla icecream

I made no changes and served this for my 22-year old daughter’s birthday. She and her fiancee and my teenage sons LOVED it. I thought it was too sweet, but I am not a dessert person in the first place. Big hit!

IT turned out just fine, but so sweet. MUst be served with a savory meal. BEst as just a sweet treat, not associated with a meal!

great cake. I tried to substitute all the artificial flavouring and candies with real chocolate and so on, it was good and not too sweet.

Easy peasy and delish!

I made this exactly as instructed for chocoholic sweet tooth’s. The sweetened condensed milk made it too sweet and soggy. It calls for too much caramel sauce too. I ended up throwing more than half of it away.

I followed the directions exactly as written but was not all that impressed. It didn’t have a lot of taste. I won’t make it again.

My son requests this as his birthday cake every year! Everyone loves it! I use Devils food cake mix instead of chocolate cake. Immediately after I remove the cake from the oven, i poke the holes and pour on the sweetened condensed milk and caramel. I think they soak into the cake better that way.
