Ingredients

  1. 1 cup white sugar
  2. ⅓ cup butter
  3. 4 eggs, beaten
  4. 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  7. ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  8. 1 cup milk
  9. ½ cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix sugar and butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer. Add eggs and beat to combine. Mix in sweet potatoes. Beat in salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour in milk and orange juice; mix very carefully until combined. Pour into a casserole dish.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until firm, about 45 minutes.
