Wonderful recipe. I’ve never roasted anything until I came across this recipe. My whole family absolutely loves it, even my daughter who isn’t big on seasoning ate it. It’s quick and simple if you’re prepping a dinner for the next night!

Great recipe, but I think this is enough brine for 15 lbs. of chicken breast at least. I hate wasting all the leftover brine.

Extremely salty. Brined for less than 6 hours. Can’t say much about the taste otherwise, because salt and soy was so overpowering. Last time I used just salted water from another recipe and that was fine. Other spices and herbs went into the gravy. More natural chicken taste.

I used a basic brine before, just K. salt and sugar. This one knocks it out of the park with just 2 extra ingredients.

Thought this was really good. We are garlic nuts so it was added. Didn’t use warm water, just room temp and stirred/shaking until sugar dissolves. Definitely a keeper!

Way Less salt, base the salt on how long your marinating

Was my first attempt at brining and rotisserie air frying. Followed the recipe with slightly less salt (brined for 24 hours). It. Was. Incredible. I like the quick grocery store roasters, but this is just next level, and the soy sauce definitely imparts a nice umami, and the brine flavoring permeates the full depth of the meat. Also stuffed with lemon, yellow onion, and one head of garlic. Just life-affirming.

I was looking for a basic simple brine for chicken so I can smoke/ pre-cook chicken that we can de-bone and package for easy meal prep. For a wide variety of recipes . This one fits the bill. It does not add a lot of different spices and flavors so the chicken can be flavored and spiced according to your meal preference . It is tender & juicy and falls off the bone. Now it s ready to be used in a stir fry, on a pizza or bbq or on a salad or casserole etc. ! Just what I was looking for.

I added garlic powder and ground powder. The chicken was very moist and tasty. I definitely will use this brine again in the future.

I was sketchy about the soy sauce but it made it pretty dang flavorful I added a little bit of sugar in my brine and herbs and spices that’s the only thing I else I added. I did try this recipe before I added the spices just forget to leave a review last time it was great.

I don’t see the porpoise of the olive oil, just floats to the top of the brine.

I like it best with chicken pieces but it makes a delicious chicken.

My Son-in-Law loves this chicken and so does everyone that eats it. It’s the best brine ever!

Quick, easy…chicken was incredibly moist. A simple ‘go to’ recipe in total or as a base.

Been using this brine for years. I’ll add a a half teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder and it is great.

1/4 quantities for only two skinless boneless chicken thighs.

My kids loved this. I only made 4 large bonless skinless breasts, probably only used 1/2 gallon of water with everything else the same, marinated for 2 hours. Seared the ckicken on the stove and then cooked low and slow on the stove top till done. Every plate was clean, chicken was tender and easy to eat! I’m going to add this to my recipe book! Thank you for sharing it!

My husband isn’t a fan of white meat because it’s too dry, but even he said the meat was very good after using this brine. We’ll use it often – thanks for posting the recipe.

This is my go-to brine recipe. I’ve used it with chicken, turkey, and duck. Easy and adaptable by adding your own seasonings.

I loved this recipe. I tweaked it a bit by using Stevia in place of sugar, adding sugar in the raw brown sugar, and ground ginger along with both garlic and onion powder and instead of the olive oil I used sesame oil. The recipe as is would be perfect. I just thought since it has soy sauce why not just take it the rest of the way to an asian fusion sort of thing. Delicious!!!
