Great, simple recipe!
Nah lol. This ain’t it. I dunno what they’re making here, but if you want tender, soul food candied yams, miss me with this lol.
My mom made some very good candied yams, but this recipe is outstanding! Keyshawn, thank you and your mom for making these EXCELLENT yams. How could something this simple be so DELICIOUS? Thank you for sharing your secret family recipe!!!!! I make these several times a year, but for Thanksgiving I throw in a handful of pecan halves.
Our family love this easy but absolutely the best tasting yams. Now it our tradition every year making these yeah thank you so much.
This is my Thanksgiving go-to recipe. My family requests it every year, and no matter how much I make there is never any left at the end of the day. Simple, easy, and nothing but rave reviews
I make this recipe every year after my mother-in-law found it online. I add cinnamon and nutmeg, cook it on the stovetop just until I can stick a fork through the yams/sweet potatoes. Then, I transfer then to a baking dish, top with marshmallows, and bake at 400F until the marshmallows are browned. This year I plan on adding pecans. This side dish literally tastes like an extra dessert My father in law usually gets a second helping along with the rest of the Thanksgiving desserts.
i did not see the temperature listed but it was easy overall and tasted good
Potatoes were super easy and delish!they’re a treat!
Best sweet potatoes ever. I make them every year.
This recipe is just yummy! I did however revise it a bit. To this recipe I add sliced apples and a half cup of dried cranberries. Everyone loved it at our party and asked for more and the recipe.
