Tried this today and as I got the ingredients out, my husband, who always sticks to beer or scotch, said to make one for him, too.  What a surprise that was.  Even more of a surprise was the fact that both of us really loved this drink.  Nice and tart — tastes like a nice lemonade with a kick.  Quick and easy to make, and it would be easy to make a batch of these if you were having guests.  Oh, I should mention that I tried it with regular Russian vodka and not the orange-favored vodka just because it’s what I had on hand.  I will definitely buy a bottle of orange-flavored vodka now, though it’s totally not necessary IMO.  I agree with reviewer KMM1 that this would be an excellent summer drink, though I’d have no problem enjoying one in winter.
TIP:  Before you juice the limes (it takes about one lime per drink), slice off a couple of lime twists for garnish.  Twist the peel with the skin side down over your finished drink so the lime oil goes right into your glass rather than sprays upward into the air.  Brian also garnished ours with fresh mint leaves too, which gave it a nice smell and a pretty look.
TIP 2:  We skipped the sugar rim on the glass, but whether or not you use it, this drink would look super in a stemmed martini glass!  Even better if you have the space in your freezer to chill the glass so it’s nice and frosty when you serve the Citrus Temptation!

VERY good drink! We tried this with friends for New Year’s Eve and we all loved it. Though I think it would be an excellent summer time drink rather than during cold months. When relaxing on the water…YUM!
