Ingredients

  1. 4 tablespoons of torre sauce, recipe follows
  2. 1/4 cup green bell peppers, chopped
  3. 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  4. 1/4 cup broccoli
  5. 1/4 cup carrots, julienne
  6. 12 ounces penne pasta, cooked al dente
  7. 1/4 cup tomatoes, chopped
  8. 4 ounces chicken breast, blackened
  9. Parmesan
  10. 2 tablespoons butter
  11. 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  12. Salt and white pepper, to taste
  13. Pinch granulated onion
  14. 1 teaspoon Cajun spice
  15. 1 tablespoon chopped basil
  16. 2 tablespoons grated Romano

Instructions

  1. In a saute pan slowly melt 4 tablespoons of torre sauce. Saute bell peppers and onions. Blanch broccoli and carrots then saute for 2 minutes. Add pasta, al dente heat for 5 minutes, add tomatoes. Place chicken breast on top of pasta. The dish is finally topped with freshly grated Parmesan.
  2. Bring butter to room temperature, blend everything together and refrigerate.

This is labelled vegetarian with chicken breast  as the 8th ingredient? Someone at Foodnetwork messed up again!
