You’ll adore the flavor that the cherry wood adds to the chicken, whether you eat it as a main dish or as a quesadilla. For a charcoal grill, use this procedure. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations if you use a gas grill or smoker.

Loved it! Great just as written!!
It was OK. Might try it again
Asian Zucchini by TrinIty Jae. Add crushed red pepper. ‘Used two. It wasn’t overly saucey, but a little strong so I added a cup or more of heated, cooked bowtie pasta. Pretty cute.
This is a great way to use zucchini. I have made it a dozen times and the only change I made was to use sesame oil instead of sesame seeds. This will definitely stay in the rotation.
It was delicious! It takes A LOT like the hibachi restaurant style veggies! I think it called for way too much sesame seeds unless one uses at least 2 large zucchini. The next time I make this (tomorrow night!), I’m going to add in some mushrooms & sweet onion. I can’t wait!
Tasty and so quick
I loved this! I doubled the recipe and it turned out great. The only change I made, after reading the other comments, was add fresh garlic and a tiny drizzle of honey. I’ll definitely be making this again!
I like having more ways to fix zucchini…this was good and simple.
Fantastic and easy to make. I made it as is and it was delicious.
Very good, will have again. Used sesame oil and honey
Made this 2 times but just isn’t anything I care to continue with. My biggest complaint was all the sesame seeds. Tonight we went half as much & it was still to much. We added mushrooms this time & onion which helped, but I can do this or similar without using this recipe combination. My feeling is don’t bother.
Really wasn’t anything special or amazing. It’s zuicchini with soy sauce and that’s what it tastes like. I think it could really use some additional spices or flavorings.
I added a little sesame oil for flavor.
Just reading this and the reviews, certain things come to mind. First, Asian cooking rarely ( if at all) uses butter in cooking. I would substitute peanut oil or other tasteless oil. Then I might add a scant teaspoon of sesame oil for flavor. Second, there was a remark that one zucchini is not enough for 4 servings. The recipe calls for a large Zucchini; the ones I find in most western groceries is quite small.
Very good, I substituted sesame oil in place of the butter – used yellow squash, vidalia onions and a sweet red bell pepper. It was delicious. Making it again tonight with zucchini, yellow squash, vidalia onions and sweet bell peppers. So quick and simple but very tasty.
Made this for my family as a quick side dish. The only change I made was adding some sesame oil to the butter. Great recipe for a quick and healthy side.
The large zucchini seem to taste better.
SO good! Truth be told I didn’t even like zuchinni before I tried it this way. I’d originally picked this recipe because everyone else in my household was so tired of the same old veggies, and I wanted to cook them something totally different. By the time the dish was done, it smelled so I good I just had to try it. Probably my favorite vegetable dish now. The zuchinni was still a bit crunchy and had just the right amout of flavor. I also made some restaurant-style ginger sauce to dip it in and it was wonderful.
I didn’t care for this recipe. I thought the soy sauce overpowered the zucchini.
I found it bland and boring.
I think people should make the changes they wish and not pan the recipe. If you want changes, just make them. Aseleener need not have bothered to state ALL the changes she would have made. It was obviously not for her; so just don’t make it, for Heaven’s sake! Food is a personal thing; cooks have their own preferences. Constructive suggestions are fine, but this review was over the top… or should I say below the belt?
