Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Combine Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl; mix to combine. Spread out on a sheet pan in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven until Brussels sprouts are browned, shaking the pan every 7 minutes, about 30 minutes total. Remove from the oven.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add brussels sprouts and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and mix with soy sauce and fish sauce.

Easy to make. I would choose larger sprouts next time. 30 minutes might be too long.
I flipped the sprouts 3 times at the proper time but they still got a bit charred. I saw that another recipe called for 425 F and also 30 minutes, so I will reduce the cooking time, maybe 10 minutes each side next time. A bit salty but I see my fish sauce is 53% RDA so that was probably why. Overall – very very tasty though. Easy to make.
Easy and fantastic recipe, very tasty. Only change was to add some carrots to the Brussels Sprouts, because we needed to use them up.
