Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 glass super-chilled white wine (very, very cold!)
  2. 1/4 glass super-chilled club soda (again: very, very cold!)
  3. Slice of lime

Instructions

  1. Fill a wine glass halfway with the super-chilled wine … the glass should frost … that’s when you know your wine’s cool enough.
  2. Splash in the club soda until the glass is three-quarters full. (Note: You can also use ginger ale or lemon lime soda!)
  3. Then take a slice of lime and put it on the rim of the glass.

Simply perfect for brunch!

Spritzers are wonderfully refreshing, but, if you add ginger ale, 7up, etc. instead of club soda, it is technically a wine cooler.  Take it from a bartender…I know these things.

This is my new favorite drink!  Pinot Grigio with sprite zero, slice of lime.  Very light, it’s the perfect summer drink!

So refreshing. I love Moscato (white, pink & red), this is like a bubblier version!

Amazing I am not a drinker but I loved this..

The quintessential white wine spritzer; these are a great way to flag the end of the day without getting completely inebriated. Drinking these ultra cold is the key and the club soda keeps you from getting dehydrated which is an added bonus. These have been my go-to adult beverage for years. I make them with just about any citrus (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, blood orange and usually Pinot Grigio.

You’re better off drinking your wine with seltzer – no sugar no salt, just carbonated water! Other than that switch, this is what I drink daily!

I have been drinking white wine with club soda for years. If your going to be in a social setting you can continue to sip without getting soused. Never used lemon lime drink in place of club soda. Sounds interesting. Thanks Ree.
