Loved it!!
Quick, easy and delicious! I didn’t change a thing.
I made the recipe with the addition of some fresh grated ginger, garlic and a splash of soy sauce which deepened the flavor. I would also add some caramelized onions next time which I think will round out the flavor. Also, slice the cabbage as fine as possible as red cabbage is firmer than green and seems to take much longer to cook.
As mentioned by others it lacked something but as it is was easy to fix but we found it to be NASTY! If there was a rating choice below one star I would give it. Will not fix again.
The recipe needs a little something else….it was good, but, not amazing the way it is. We couldn’t pin down what would help it be more flavorful. We will keep experimenting with it. It was a pretty dish. We served it w/ Ribs. Thanks. Denise Nichols, Florida
Ingredients are not difficult to get. Healthy, quick, to make.
I agree with ther reviewer who said this recipe seemed to lack something. My son also said it needed something but he didn’t know what. I thought maybe more vinegar to give it some tang. He thought about something sweet, like duck sauce. I may try the raisin idea. Once chilled, they may add the missing flavor. I really wanted this one to be a winner. I hope others who try it will review it and include their tweaks to the recipe.
Was easy to make. Wasn’t overwhelmed with the final product. A bit plain in the world of Slaw.
My family liked it but wanted a little more of the seasoning. Other than that it was great. It got them to eat cabbage.
It was such an easy recipe & it tasted great. Served it a couple of times already & it got great reviews.
This was delicious and quick. It had so much flavor, I would eat it cold out of the fridge!
