I made this and my wife loved it (I LOVE Manhattans, but she doesn’t.) I reduced the maple syrup by half for mine and it was perfect! A great fall, warmer uperrer! Great Job, Mr. Mauro, it is not a favorite of ours!!!
Excellent! Love the use of maple instead of simple syrup!
Absolutely delicious! I used bourbon instead of Rye and it was amazing. A love fall/winter libatio
“over manly rocks glass?” Omg, any bourbon/martini glass will do. I don’t care about the appearance of a glass. LOL
My husband loves a Perfect Manhattan and he loves maple syrup so gave this recipe a try and he said that he has a new friend! 😉
WHAt are pickled cherries? I haven’t seen them for sale.
Both husband and I really liked this! Goes down easy and smooth. Love the maple syrup idea instead of the usual simple syrup.
It is was so good
Excellent cocktail but recipe is no longer included on this page. I can’t remember how much vermouth to add.
Very nice fall cocktail, but if you want a more pronounced maple flavor then you’ll want to add more than one tablespoon of maple syrup. It was a great sweetener for this libation, but I was expecting more obvious maple flavor when I followed the recipe as written.
