my tasty green beverage. I created my own recipe because I couldn’t find one that I liked online. I blend it in a Vitamix® 7500 for 35 to 45 seconds at a speed of 7 or 8, and it comes out smooth and palatable. I mix instead of juicing because I find it inexplicable to throw away fruit or vegetable pulp. Feel the strength by taking one of these daily! Tell me what you believe.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 tomato, roughly chopped
  3. 1 large carrot, roughly chopped
  4. 1 cup kale
  5. 2 radishes, roughly chopped
  6. 1 lemon, peeled
  7. 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
  8. 6 ice cubes, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Pour water into a blender. Add tomato, carrot, kale, radishes, lemon, spirulina powder; top with ice cubes. Blend vegetable mixture until smooth.

So, I just thought I had enough kale. Didn’t have radishes so my comprimise was a polblano pepper and 1/2 the kale. Wow. Can’t wait to try the original version.

Love it. Put 1 cup tomato juice and 1 water. I think I’ll replace the water with ice cubes next time. Lemon juice because I didn’t have a lemon. Thats the best thing about sharing reviews…it helps us all!
