The Best Ever Chicken Nuggets

  4.5 – 240 reviews  • Fried Chicken Recipes

A frozen beverage known as a slush is created from frozen juice or pulp. With these two tasty fruits, I’ve created a combination slush. A excellent summertime beverage is mango orange slush. I’m hoping you folks will like this beverage.

Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Total Time: 30 mins
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  1. vegetable oil for frying
  2. 4 cups all-purpose flour
  3. 6 tablespoons garlic salt
  4. 3 tablespoons ground black pepper
  5. 4 large eggs, beaten
  6. 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cut into small chunks

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 inch oil in a large skillet or saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Stir together flour, garlic salt, and pepper in a bowl. Dip chicken pieces into beaten eggs, then press each piece into flour mixture to coat well; shake off excess flour. Place coated chicken pieces onto a plate.
  3. Working in batches, fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown and no longer pink in the center. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  4. The nutrition data for this recipe includes the full amount of the breading ingredients. The actual amount of the breading consumed will vary. We have determined the nutritional value of oil for frying based on a retention value of 10% after cooking. The exact amount will vary depending on cooking time and temperature, ingredient density, and the specific type of oil used.

Amazingly easy and delicious.

Super good! I think the recipe needed too much though, I made 20 nuggets with materials of six.

I actually have not made this dish yet, but just from looking at the ingredients and how they go together, I can tell this is going to taste really good. Cant wait!

Wife likes it. I liked it. Did not have garlic salt, but mixed garlic granules and salt and it was just right. Not salty at all. Will make it again during family gathering. It’s good with ranch dressing for dipping.

I saw the measurement for pepper, & said whoa! I cut it down to 1 Tablespoon, but grandkids and adults said “way too much pepper “! Won’t deviate from my tried and true recipe again!

This is horrible. To salty, bland and greasy. Will not be making this again

Mine were neither too salty or sticky! Just right. crispy. I actually added a bit more salt. Turned out well even without an oil thermometer!

This recipe was simple and very good. Would be even better kicked up a notch. No complaints, which means my fussy eaters liked it.

Our favorite nuggets!!! We are a savory family, so if you like nuggets with a ton of flavor, these are for you. We like to deep fry them at 375 F for 4 minutes.

Bread it twice!

I made this tonight and kids loved it. Just like everyone else mentioned about to much flour or not enough or too much salt I adjusted both and they were a hit. I will be adding this to our favorites list.

Best and easiest recipe for nuggets. Grandkids devoured them. Made one change, used self rising flour. Also put chicken in the refrigerator while oil was heating up. Will definitely make again.

I’ll definitely be making this recipe again! I just made it this night, and believe it really turned out amazing…personally I think it could’ve used less garlic salt, but I didn’t mind it I thought it tasted great! The only bummer is that I accidentally burnt my hand in the cooking oil….I will have too add a picture next time I make them because they looked just as great as they tasted

Very good, definitely a keeper!

First time making it was very bland. I didn’t understand the reviews about too much flour, now I do. Second time, 2c flour, 4 tbsp black pepper, 4 tbsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp cyan. Seems like a crazy amount of spice but more is better. They were really good this time. Next, maybe more cyan and something else..

4174.7 mg sodium REALLY??? That is insanely high so I opted to use garlic powder instead and only 3 TBS . Tasted much better and was way lower on the sodium level
Miss Wendy Ingram
Definitely use only two cups of flour. Used less garlic salt -only 3 tbsp. Only one tbsp black pepper. And did the flour-egg-flour dip method and turned out ah-freaking-mazing!!!!
