This soup is delicious, but it also beats eating Christmas leftover turkey sandwiches for days on end!

My Husband loved this soup I’m not a great cook but this recipe made it look like I’m a great cook only thing changed was I used dry black beans not canned
Delicious! Was a big hit with everyone and is definitely going in the make it again (soon) file!
Great way to use leftover Turkey. This soup was delicious.
Excellent with leftover smoked turkey
it was really great – filling and tasty and perfect even if the real turkey came out a bit dry! everyone had seconds! we will do this yearly for sure!
Amazing recipe and one that I think you can adjust/add to based on what you have. I was a little skeptical about adding tomato soup but it really gave it a velvelty type texture and a nice taste. Thanks so much for this recipe.
I used this soup as inspiration because I had a ton of leftover turkey, but I was missing sour cream and didn’t have time to go to the store. My family tends to like broth based soups, so I followed the recipe, doubling the spices, and leaving out the sour cream and cheese, and it was superb! I know it’s not exactly the soup recorded here, but the elements I used were wonderful, and I look forward to making it again with all the ingredients!
Skipped the soup and used broth instead of water. Yummy!
It was very good . But I like a little more spice.
A good recipe to use the Thanksgiving Turkey leftovers! And a nice change from the creamy kind of soup. I had about 3 Lb of cooked turkey with bones in my freezer that I thawed overnight, so I used the bones with little bit of the attached meat to make a turkey broth in lieu of water and bouillon cubes. The other change I made was to reduce the tomatoes. I don’t like soups that are too “tomatoey”, so I skipped the tomato soup ( I never buy canned soups anyway) and used less diced tomatoes. Next time I will use 2 cans of beans to make the soup heartier. I served this soup with some avocado toasts.
This recipe is fantastic. What a great use of leftover Turkey from the holidays. I didn’t change a thing. Whole family loves it!
YUM is the first thing that comes to mind!! Super easy, smells fantastic and tastes even better! I saved the sour cream just for a garnish but followed the rest of the recipe to a T!
Really good soup and a great way to use up turkey.
One of our family favorites! We use chicken or turkey. Whatever we have. Try spicing it up with a jalapeño!
Awesome soup! So flavorful. I used the turkey carcass to make broth and it was wonderful!
Whole family loved it! We didn’t use the corn chips because we used it as just the soup. Still awesome!
I love this so much!!!
It was kind of bland. I was able to improve upon the leftovers by adding a fair bit more spice, including 1/2 a packet of taco seasonings. I would make it again with more spice, as it turned out quite well after I’d doctored it up a bit.
This soup was superb. I used homemade turkey stock instead of water and chicken bouillon, and I substituted frozen fire roasted corn from Trader Joe’s for the frozen corn. My husband thought it was the best soup I’ve ever made. I will make it again and again. Joan C.
Family loved it! I followed your recipe with 2 exceptions. I couldn’t find the the jalapeño cream cheese so I used onion cream cheese and added a can of pinto beans (my family’s preference). Leftovers were just as good, and I served it with warm corn tortillas. I will definitely make this again! I’m happy you shared it!
Such a great recipe for left over turkey. I did modify the recipe to a crock pot version where I threw everything into the pot and let it slow cook until dinner time because I’m a busy mom of 3 and like to utilize the crock pot’s ability to make dinner time quicker. Added sour cream and cheese toppings to serve. Turned out soooo delicious will be making again for sure !
