I used a malt belgium still beer – New Belgium Brewery Abbey Ale to be exact – and they were fantastic! The malty darker beer contrasted well with the brown sugar and ketchup. Awesome, unique recipe!
The boys munched on these til they were gone, must be delicious. Keep the tums nearby though if you use kilbasa, could get a bit greasy
For a really great taste, replace the Beer with 1 1/4 cups of good Bourbon. I have used this version at parties for years and they always are a hit.
I absolutely love this recipe…so quick and easy, and tastes amazing. I like to serve this over rice as well for more of a dinner feel 🙂
Simple, tasty, perfect for sports parties! We call it Hot Dog Soup.
This is easy and a great game day snack! Everyone loved it!
This is better in a slow cooker, and better the longer you let it reduce. Try 9-10 hours on low, removing the lid for the last 2-3 hours. When the hot dogs get good & dark, not just plump, the depth of flavor is unreal.
fast, easy, great in crock pot,
great for parties.
