Ingredients

  1. 1 cup half-and-half
  2. 2 cups (4 sticks) salted butter, diced
  3. 3 cups light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the half-and-half, butter and brown sugar. Cook, whisking often, until everything comes together and the sauce thickens, 10 to 15 minutes. Refrigerate until cold or use warm.
