I’ve made this for years now and my family loves it! I make it with ground turkey now, add some corn and when i can find it the Campbell’s cream of mushroom w/ roasted garlic soup! This is awesome!

I seasoned the ground beef with spices that we enjoy and this dish was perfect. Simple and easy for those days when you just want something tasty and don’t want to go elaborate.

I doubled it but didn’t have 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup so I diluted the soup with some beef broth and added a can of peas with the green beans turned out pretty good

This was a good recipe but I doubled the meat and the green beans and instead of onions I used mushrooms and topped with 6 cups of mash potatoes cooked then topped with cheddar cheese and added some hot sauce after serving. It was phenomenal!
Jessica Howe
It was good, but I added worchestersire sauce to give a little bit of flavor.

I made this as an easy meal for a weekend night. But used black beans and chopped sweet peppers, substituted cream of poblano soup and added some cheese to the top at the end. Came out wonderful. Gives me ideas for the next time.

the only change I make is adding mixed veggies instead of just green beans
Jonathan Boyd
I made this with a few changes. I added garlic powder and onion powder to meat while cooking. I also added 1 can EA of cream if mushroom, cream of chicken and cream of celery soup per 3 lbs of burger. As suggested by another person I added some cheese to my mashed potatoes and places the rest on top. Used corn instead of green beans. My family devoured the whole pan! I got raves from my husband, who is a Very picky eater! Definitely will make again.

I omit the cheese and use sweet potatoes. It is so yummy

It’s easy and good. I highlighted my own serving with Worcestershire sauce, but that is just to my taste. I will definitely make again.

I have made this several times but this time was the best with a few changes. I sautéed the onion with minced garlic, then browned the beef and added cavenders seasoning to taste. Added a can of corn (drained) for more veggie and variety. Used Idahoan instant mashed potatoes home style butter flavor and added Lowry garlic salt with parley. For some reason I alway put the cheese on top of the potatoes instead of in the middle. It doesn’t change anything and we love it!!

I made it. A suggestion is to use a large cast iron skillet. Then it becomes pretty much a one pot meal. I would probably use frozen beans the next time. Very easy to put together. I also used very lean ground beef so no need to drain.
Matthew Nichols
This recipe is amazing! I’ve made it many times!
Bryan Carter
Delicious comfort food. I used a can of peas and carrots instead of green beans and added cheese To the top.
