I really liked this recipe. I didn’t have Worcester sauce so I used fish sauce and a squeeze of lime. Topped it off with shredded cabbage, thinly sliced chillies, cilantro, a tablespoon of hoisen sauce, a splash of rice vinegar, splash of fish sauce, squeeze of lime and little sprinkle of sugar to taste, and mix the cabbage/slaw up. Then placed a Pattie on a sesame seeds bun, slice of tomato and cabbage. No other sauces or condiments needed. Burger was moist, tender, full of flavor and spice. Best turkey burger made at home.
I made the burgers according to the recipe without any changes and they were delicious. My whole family loved them.
These did not look like they would hold together on the grill but did so perfectly. Grilled for 5 minutes each side. Topped with cheddar cheese, mayo and dill relish. Moist and delicious.
The only real change was that I cut this in half since we are now empty nesters. Otherwise I used pretty much everything the recipe calls for. I didn’t have hot pepper so I used a big hunking teaspoon of pickled hoagie peppers. If you like flavor, use the same amount of meat and double the spice. If you are a regular week day cook, you’ll eyeball it. Don’t skimp….. Life is better spicy. Make it spicy and flavorful.
These were very flavorful, moist burgers. I will definitely make them again but without the added salt. The family loved them but thought they were a little too salty. I think the soy sauce has enough salt for the recipe.
Really good flavour but I found them a bit dry, albeit still good for turkey burgers. I may have over cooked them a bit so I will try less time when I make them next, which will be very soon!
I really liked this recipe, but I’m giving it four stars because there is way to much soy sauce. You can half it. Also, I know this is a preference, but I would useThai chilis and up the amount to give a a good kick. I used six and it was good! But I like hot things! Goes really well with some tomato, spinach and mayo!
This turned out sooo delish my husband loved the burgers!!! I took the comments into account as well, so healthy and delish!
Didn’t have the ginger root, but used ground ginger. I would make again if no other recipes caught my eye.
Have used this recipe countless times. Incredible flavour coming out of this burger. Highly recommended as a burger or simply using them for meatballs!!
Delish!!
I made this delicious dish just as the recipe suggested. I loved it and so did my family. I don’t usually like turkey burgers but this is a keeper.
We eat this once a week. I add a pinch of cayenne to turn up the heat.
Loved it. The burgers have great flavor and are easy to make. Since I didn’t have the green chili pepper I just used some hot peppers in a jar I had in the fridge. Worked just as well. Also added a little hot sauce as a topping. Yum!
I was looking for something to jazz up a package of ground turkey that was about to expire. WOW! This was awesome! The whole family loved them! I followed the advice of some of the other reviews and reduced the cumin by half, but otherwise followed the recipe. I grilled fresh pineapple slices to put on top. I will be making these again and again.
Absolutely excellent, at last my husband Will eat chicken or turkey burgers!
These were great. I think next time I might leave out the salt as the soy sauce adds enough, and felt they were just a tad bit too salty . Otherwise excellent recipe.
We love this recipe (especially my 9 yr old daughter). I make this once a week!
This is THE recipe I have been searching for! It packs delicious FLAVOR. Absolutely fantastic and easy easy easy to make and tweak if necessary! SPICY, yum:)
My husband and I enjoyed these very much. He was hesitant to have turkey burgers since the last time I made them, they were dry. I omitted the ginger because I was out. Will make again.
Yes!!!! Very tasty, didn’t even taste like a turkey burger!
