Spicy Steak Marinade

  4.8 – 7 reviews  • Marinade Recipes

My family enjoys this somewhat spicy marinade so much that we’ve boiled it down, added tomato sauce, and created a basting/barbecue sauce out of it. Put the steaks in a sealable plastic bag and add the marinade. For the finest flavor and tenderness, let the meat rest for at least two hours and ideally overnight.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
Servings: 4
Yield: 1 cup

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup water
  2. ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  3. ¼ cup soy sauce
  4. 2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  5. 1 tablespoon minced onion
  6. ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  7. ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Combine water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, mustard, onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. You can substitute 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for the minced garlic and 1 teaspoon onion powder for the minced onion if desired.

Pretty average, I made it per recipe. Needs some tweaking on ingredient amounts. Ingredients do go together.
