We have used this recipe several times. It is great as is. I wouldn’t make any changes.
We have made this recipe numerous times because our teen boys love it. Each time, we change it up just a little. We mostly use breaded spicy shrimp (Nashville Hot) so you get the crunch with the breaded shrimp. We always add more Sriracha sauce to the ranch just to kick it up a notch. The sauce is better if you prepare ahead of time. We add lots of chopped mango, sometimes chopped avocado, pepperjack or jalapeno shredded cheese; squeeze fresh lime. Red onion is optional. This recipe is an inspirational one and quick to prepare! For a side dish to go with this, coleslaw with the Marzetti dressing with pineapple or fresh pineapple and then add mango chunks. Yummy!
I took some advice and marinated the shrimp but added a tablespoon of minced garlic and a tablespoon of old bay seasoning to the marinade with 1/4 cup of olive oil – dumped it all in a pan and grilled 2 min a side – was really good. I also added some matchstick carrots to the marinade and cooked them separately for longer until they were softened – was great since I didn’t have any cole slaw for the crunch factor.
My wife and I loved this dish. We added chopped radish, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and avocado as garnishes. The ranch dressing and sriracha sauce was a bit salty, so I tried to adjust it with chopped cilantro, lime juice, and some sour cream. I thought it helped, but my wife didn’t care for that part.
Made as recipe suggested but cooked shrimp on the grill. Very fresh and delicious. Will make again.
Needed to be spicier
this recipe came out superbly, we didnt want the traditional turkey for thanksgiving so we made this recipe, came out great.
Made the first with Mission corn tortillas on a griddle added the shrimp, mango salsa with a few cherry tomatoes diced in as well. Second flour tortilla warmed on griddle with salsa and sauce. OMG it was to die for! Went so nicely with a cold brewski at the end of my work week. 2 thumbs zup!
Very flavorful. I added mushrooms and spinach..
Love this recipe, super easy and delicious. It’s become a weekly dinner in our home
These were good. Also good in stand -n stuff hard shell tortillas. Easy to make too.
This is absolutely easy and delicious! My husband and I both plan on keeping this in the rotation!!
Absolutely delicious! Made the recipe exactly as it was written and they turned out great!
Delicious! And so simple. Passed on the cilantro.
Just made this for dinner tonight. Followed the recipe exactly and it was awesome!!!!!
Instead of the Mission tortillas, I used LaTortilla Factory all natural 50% corn 50% flour tortillas. Also, instead of ranch dressing I used an even mix of nonfat plain yogurt and sour cream. I like my food a bit spicier, so I used about 4 or 5 tbsp of Siracha sauce. Other than that, I pretty much followed the recipe, and the tacos turned out great!
just the right amount of heat.
This recipe is excellent!… The sauce has the perfect zip to it, and the mango gives it some good tang! It’s also easy to whip together. I added some chopped red peppers and some slices of avocado because I had them handy. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!
This was perfect! We added tomatoes and avocados.
This was delicious! I left out the onions, just because I’m not a big fan, but it was still great. Took the advice from another reviewer and added the sirracha a little bit at a time and made it took a good, spicy level. Will definitely make again.
Really tasty. Loved the sauce although I was hesitant at first, that part really made the tacos yummy.
