Ingredients

  1. 2 pounds raw frozen shrimp, deveined, shells on
  2. 2 sticks cold butter, cut into pieces
  3. 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
  4. 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  5. 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  6. 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  7. 1 whole lemon, juiced
  8. Crusty bread, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Rinse the shrimp to separate, and then arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. To the bowl of a food processor, add the butter, parsley, salt, red pepper, garlic and lemon juice. Pulse until combined. Sprinkle the cold butter crumbles over the shrimp.
  3. Bake until the shrimp is opaque and the butter is hot and bubbly.
  4. Serve with hot crusty bread. Peel and eat the shrimp, and then encourage guests to dip the bread into the butter in the bottom of the pan.

DELICIOUS
Never cooked shrimp from frozen before, let alone in the oven. Came out PERFECT! Definitely a keeper.

Finally a Frozen shrimp recipe. I’ve made this several times with different variations. Quick easy way to cook some shrimp. As a mom of younger kids I like the extra time it takes to cook. I often makes half or a quarter of the recipe.

Liked it a lot. Next time I made a butter mix with the juice and zest of lemon, salt, pepper and some crushed capers and used that to fry the shrimp in and wow it was amazing

My family LOVED this dish. I did add a little extra butter and mushrooms, and created a butter sauce. I added the cooked shrimp to it and I served it over linguine noodles.

This is super delicious and easy to make!! The only drawback I had was the shrimp skins…it’s a super messy dish when you have to peel them after they’re all saucy lol! It does give extra flavor though. I didn’t have any crusty bread either, so I made some noodles, and it was amazing! I’ll definitely be making this again!

Made it for the first time tonight but took off the wheels prior to cooking and served over jasmine rice. Delicious! Would also be great with pasta.

Fabulous! Used raw, defrosted shelled shrimp and it came out perfect! Fresh bread to dip in butter sauce is a must!

Family favorite! I only used 1 1/2 sticks of butter, and I think that was just right.

WAY too much butter! Drowns our all the other ingredients.
