Pretty good, but for us better as a base to start with then modify – was a bit too mustard heavy as others have noted, we added more ketchup, a plop of sweet red hamburger relish (many grocers have varieties of this), and about a half teaspoon of agave syrup – then it came to life!
not quite the right flavor for me. a little mustard heavy.
This recipe was great. We all enjoyed it on our burgers and will be our go to sauce from now on. Would recommend
Loved it!
Great Recipe, I enjoyed it
I agree with the others. Cut back the yellow mustard a bit, and I loooove mustard. It just overwhelmed the rest of the sauce in my opinion. I will make it again and adjust though. I was that good.
Reduce paprika by half – too smokey – and ditch one of the tablespoons of yellow mustard. You can also play with the relish to increase sweetness. Be careful though – you don’t want it overly sweet. It’s a really nice sauce for French fries too!
Loved it! Followed GZ’s Iron Chef Burger “special sauce” then added a little onion & garlic powder & a squirt of Dijon. Perfect!
This sauce was really good, but next time I will cut down on the mustard. I’m assuming that it’s a copy cat for a hamburger chain…any one know which one. I don’t think it the big mac, but maybe in-n-out?
best burger sauce!!
