This was so easy to make. It’s things that you already have in your home. Perfect for someone that needs a quick.
Delicious as is.
I made this according to the recipe. It is a nice, budget-friendly comfort food, just like my mother’s.
This was excellent!! The only change I made was using a yellow bell pepper because I had it on hand and my husband forgot to pick up a green one. Such a simple and tasty meal. My whole family devoured it and said they definitely want it again!!
Made the recipe exactly as directed and we loved it! Perfectly spiced. Better than I remembered from childhood. Will be a permanent option in our kitchen.
Took me back to my Mom’s kitchen. Deceptively and delightfully simple to whip together. In less than 30 minutes.
I think many moms had some version of Spanish Rice made with ground beef. While this didn’t hit home with me it was a good base recipe.
excellent like what my mother made So glad I found it
Very good, fast and easy.
This dish turned out very delicious but I did make some changes. Used a can of Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chilis Tomato sauce with Italian seasonings. 1 1/2 Tbs of chili powder 1/2 Tbs of chipotle chili powder for a little kick ! I added minced garlic besides the garlic salt. This recipe is a keeper ! Do take into account the extra liquid in the Ro-Tel tomatoes so adjust the water accordingly.
Turned out very well. I used brown rice to make it a little healthier.
Great recipe. Better the 2nd day.
Pretty classic. I made half of the recipe so we wouldn’t be eating it for days. So I used a small can of tomato sauce and the whole can of diced tomatoes (just drained and use the juice as part of the water.) No garlic salt so substituted about a tsp of garlic powder and one of salt.
