I also thought this was too close to thousand Island dressing which I make often.

Oh. My. Goodness. EXCELLENT! I almost didn’t add the oregano but did. This was the perfect sauce. Tastes identical to Outback Steakhouse Restaurant and their bloomin onion sauce. I had to make another batch because the first one was no match for a house with three very unpicky teens that love to eat. Plus, even if you can buy it at the store, don’t. Homemade is always the best. I didn’t change a thing.

Really tasty. We both loved it and are using it on many different foods. I substituted plain yogurt for the buttermilk, but otherwise followed the directions. I will be making this regularly.

I was looking for something to dip carrots in, and it was okay, but too thin for veggies. I tried some corn chips, and it was too thin for those too. I like the taste, and I think this would be great on turkey burgers or onion rings or chicken tenders.

Super good!!

This is the best sauce. I didn’t add the oregano. I think it was just fine without it. Thanks for a great recipe!

I made it for onion rings. The horse radish was a little over powering, but over all tasty. Went well on a roast beef and cheese sandwich with sautéed onions on a kaiser roll.

I substituted 1/4 cup of mayo for 1/4 cup sour cream, plus a little more paprika. I will definitely make this dip again, and with chips, it is a perfect addition to any meal.

Absolutely loved this sauce!!! I didn’t add the oregano just because I was out… awesome.

Ok, I’ll give it a 3, it is NOT a southwest dipping sauce in my opinion. We had southwest egg rolls and it definitely did not go with it. However, it is a good “bloomin’ onion” sauce. So 4.5 for a bloomin’ onion sauce, 1.5 for a southwest sauce.

I followed the recipe to use with onion rings. We were eating with our neighbors and the group consensus was way too much horseradish!

I made this even more simple. I used jarred cocktail sauce in place of ketchup and horseradish then added everything else!!! Awesome! Sooo easy the way like it!

I was looking for a sauce,to compliment the fried green tomatoes I was planning on making. I stumbled upon this one, and am so glad I did. Easy to make, tasty and no alterations needed. The sauce was superb with the tomatoes!

The horseradish defiantly gives it the spivey kick! Made this sauce to go with the traditional onion rings.

Would have given 5 stars but after one tablespoon of horseradish, it had enough. Two tablespoons would be overkill to us. I mixed up all ingredients and saved adding horseradish to the last step to adjust and I am glad I did. It would have been ruined to me otherwise.

Yummy!!

Super easy and oh so tasty!! I’m not sure what creamy horseradish is so I just used my prepared out of the bottle. Sure will be doing this again! Thanks for sharing!

It was delicious! I did make a few changes tho. Keep in mind that my family likes spicy! I added garlic powder and Louisiana hot sauce and I used Kraft Chipotle Mayo. 🙂

Great flavor, perfect with beer batter onion rings!
