Simple and delicious. Sometimes I use smoked paprika. That’s how my grandparents made it.

I had this soup for the first time at a place on Long Island New York… I loved it then but now to know how easy it is to make myself. I used 3 rolls and cut them up and then toasted them in the oven. I also used elephant garlic which make it much easier to slice. Since I only had one kind of paprika I used a little cayenne pepper to give it a little kick.

White bread? Really? I used a rustic loaf from a local baker and tripled the garlic. It was amazing!

I made this in minutes and it is so good.I sauteed the bread in a frying pan with lots of olive oil and garlic. It is also good for someone with a cold, the garlic is a pick me up and the egg adds additional taste and nutrition.
