S’mores Campfire Cones

Cupcakes that I created on the fly that are light and moist and dairy-free. They are simple to make, delicious, and not overly sugary. Serve plain or with your preferred icing on top.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 15 mins
Servings: 6
Yield: 6 cones

Ingredients

  1. 1 (1.5 ounce) bar milk chocolate candy bar (such as Hershey’s®)
  2. 6 sugar cones
  3. ¾ cup mini marshmallows
  4. 6 sheets aluminum foil

  1. Build a campfire and allow the fire to burn until it has accumulated a bed of coals. Rake the coals into a flat bed on one side of the fire.
  2. Divide chocolate bar into 12 pieces.
  3. Fill each cone with 2 tablespoons marshmallows and 2 chocolate pieces.
  4. Wrap each filled cone in foil and place on the campfire, indirectly over the heat and cook until gooey and melted, about 5 minutes, rotating halfway through.
  5. You can add candy sprinkles, peanut butter cups, sliced bananas, or any desired fillings to the chocolate and marshmallows.
