I’ve made this recipe twice since Thanksgiving; once for my household, and once for another family. I’m making it again for New Year’s Eve dinner. It’s a keeper. Thanks Ree for another winning recipe.
This was my 1st time using this recipe and my family loved it. I’m making it again as I write thing review. Thanks a bunch!
Using a vintage but still going strong Rival crock pot I found 1 hr high and 2 hrs low turned out soft but not mushy sweet potatoes. A bit on the too sweet side but it gave me a great idea for cooked apples using a crock pot.
Last year,I had large chunks of sweet potatoes. It took 6 hours on high to cook. This year, I had small chunks, it took 3 hours on high to b ready. Delicious recipe. Using crock pot makes prep alot easier on the big day. This recipe is a keeper.
Excellent mix of sweet, a bit salty and a bit spicy. Ree did it again, best (and easiest sweet potatoes ever!!!
Usually we have mashed sweets every year with just honey, butter, S&P.
Saw this recipe at the last minute and decided to try it to free up my oven from roasting the potatoes.
This recipe is BOMB!
Delish, super-easy, no-fail!!!

One of the two favorite items on the table at thanksgiving this year. I did add more corn starch 1/2 way through to make the sauce thicker. Came out like a wonderful glaze. And upped the time from low to high. Thank YOU!
These were excellent! Cut the potatoes just a bit smaller otherwise made per the recipe. Cooked on low for 4 hours. There weren’t any left over this year!
Made me love a different form of sweet potatoes besides just the fry form of it
