Very easy to make and was a big hit with the family. Will be making again soon.
Not bad! Tasty, spicy, not bad. My slow cooker chicken always comes out really dry, not sure what I’m doing wrong there, or if that’s just how slow cooker chicken’s gonna be.
I have been using a different allrecipes recipe for sesame chicken then I saw this one. It has more components and that gives it more flavor. I really like that the ginger comes through. My only criticism is that it needs to make more sauce to coat the chicken. I will definitely make this again and maybe 1 1/2 times the liquid.
I made in an instapot, but high pressure 25 minutes slow release for 14. Next time I’m trying this: Set it to high pressure and set for 15 minutes. Click cancel when it’s done and release the pressure, it’s perfect every time. We have never had dry chicken out of the instant pot. This is what I do, with the exception of the cancel.
This is okay. I added more ginger and Sriracha and topped with sesame seeds since they dissolved in the sauce when cooking. The sauce is very thin. I served with broccoli.
I made this in the iNstant pot for 20 minutes on pressure cook. The flavor came out good. I used flaxseeds and water to thicken, as I didn’t have cornstarch. Reduced down to make more like a sauce. Great for meal prep sunday.
I made this tonight for the family. We really enjoyed it. It was better, imo, than some others we tried from this site. The only issue I had with this is the sauce was very runny, even with doing the cornstarch at the beginning. I made a cornstarch slurry, threw the finished chicken and sauce in a pot on the stove, brought it to a boil and mixed in the slurry to thicken it. The taste was great, it had a nice kick. Both my kids enjoyed it, as did the hubby who got seconds. We will definitely make this again!
