Slow Cooker Dirty Chai Latte

Ingredients

  1. 6 cups water or milk
  2. 3/4 cup chai tea powder
  3. Cinnamon sticks, as needed
  4. Star anise pods, as needed
  5. 6 cups strong brewed coffee
  6. Whipped cream, for serving
  7. Cinnamon sticks, for garnish

Instructions

  1. For the chai tea: Add the water (or milk) and chai tea powder to a slow cooker. Cook on low for 5 hours. Add some cinnamon sticks and star anise and cook for 1 hour more.
  2. For the dirty chai lattes: Ladle some of the slow cooker chai into each cup of coffee. Serve with some whipped cream and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
