The most critical review is crazy lol, do not use ‘sweet n sassy’ with buffalo sausage.. Follow the recipe and it’s amazing!!

~ dunno, this was mediocre with grape jelly – the lil smokies Hormel brand were no different than hotdogs

I have used this for years except a lil less jelly and add 1/2 cup Wild Turkey 101 bourbon

This has been a traditional recipe in my family since before I was born, I would say it is a southern delicacy. I tried Kraft regular BBQ sauce and reg 8 oz concord grape jelly, we didn’t have one left, easy and fast!!

This dish is requested from my family and friends for ANY get together we have. Any time someone tries them for the first time, they are absolutely amazed. I’ve never seen anything else that has 3 ingredients and so simple to make that turns everyone’s world upside down

It was delish!!!

I’ve prepared this exactly as presented here many times over the years and it has always been good. The only time this was less-than-excellent was the time I allowed it to cook on HIGH for far too long. That was my one-time mistake, but I’m sharing it here just as a caution. Enjoy!

Instead of grape jelly I use Brown Sugar, sweet baby rays BBQ, and worchishire sauce. ☺️ can’t ever go wrong

I use sweet baby rays original barbecue sauce with Welch’s Concord grape jelly and I always go back to this recipe it’s simple and tastes amazing!!!

I make these to this day, but not with this sauce. BBQ Sauce is overpowering for already smoked sausages. I use Red Currant Jelly, if you can find it. You can sub Apple or Grape or Blackberry). And then yellow mustard. 8 oz jar of jelly, 2 oz mustard. Dijon/Brown mustard doesn’t work–use the yellow. Melt in a saucepan before pouring over the sausages. It’s alot better tasting.

No changes. I used sweet baby rays bbq & welchs grape jelly as the sauce for our engagement party; simply because times r hard,&- thats what my parents had on hand. I LOVE IT,& will always remember the party,& the food

I had to double the recipe. I think it turned out well. There were no complaints. None left over.

We used to make these for parties and potlucks in the 70’s! I don’t think I have bought grape jelly since then. Made these for our holiday appetizer party and what is old, is new again! Wonderful little bites! Thanks for the post.
