Tender and juicy
I made these they turned out delicious. I cook them on high for three hours. They fell off the phone. It was such a pleasant surprise.!
Made not changes at all. They were tender and delicious!
I added 2/3 cup of lemon lime gatorade and a tablespoon of vinegar. Best receipe I know of!
The pork chops was a bit too dry for me, maybe I did it wrong but it just seems hard to screw up.
used boneless pork chops and seasoned meat loved it
Was really good rexipe
I really like the recipe itself because anybody can do it. However, I would add sliced green peppers and onions along with s erving Fried potatoes and Corn on the cob. But that is the side items and doesn’t reflect the recipe for the main dish which was so very basic but Incredibly easy and very good.
Love Pork Chops, lot of iron!!!
Very good! Made per Recipe but added sliced onions and seasoned Pork Chops.
This was so good and so easy! I’m making it again now. Too easy, too good. Can’t wait to try it for chicken. I did not even season the chops. I did add onions. It does not need any water.
Amazing recipes I did use a whole bottle of bbq sauce
One of my favorites for easy
This is excellent but you don’t need to use an entire bottle. 3/4 is plenty. I used 1/2 bottle and they got dried out.
They came out perfectly. Really yummy and so easy.
Super easy! Super tasty! Easy to adjust up or down in quantity. We usually make two 8 ounce chops. Split one between the two of us for dinner with salad and cornbread; use the other for pulled pork sandwiches the next day or so! It’s a favorite.
It was way to dry to eat. I will try again adjusting the cooking time to 2-2.5 hours. Three hours in high and one on low was too much.
I really liked this, very easy. My only additive was a shot glass amount of Jack Daniels whiskey. Once the chops were done I tore them apart and made bbq sandwiches out of them. I cooked 6 boneless chops and it lasted the two of us several days.
As suggested by some other reviewers, I added some Italian dressing and some Worcestershire sauce. Placed onion slices on the bottom, between the two layers of chops and on top o the second layer. Cooked it on low for about 7 1/2 hours. The flavor was delicious and the onions were incredible. The chops not so much. A little dry and tough. I blame that on the chops not the recipe. Bone in chops may have made a difference or perhaps if I had brined these chops before cooking they would have been better. I will definitely try it again with better chops.
I’ve been making something similar for years. I put down a layer of 1/3″ sliced carrots on the bottom of the crock. Salt and pepper 5-6 chops, arrange overlapping around the crock. Cut 2 medium onions into 6 wedges each and sandwich them between the chops and along the sides to help separate and prop up chops. No water needed, onions produce enough liquid. Add minced garlic to taste (1 Tbs). Use only 1/3 – 1/2 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce on top. Always cooked on low. Once done, remove chops and vegetables and thicken liquid with a cornstarch and water mix. Makes an excellent gravy
This was really easy and good. Like others, I seasoned chops with onion powder and garlic salt before adding to cooker. I used KC masterpiece bbq sauce.
