Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp, cleaned
- 1/2 medium onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 teaspoons chile flakes
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
- One 16-ounce store-bought package zucchini noodles
- 1 cup multicolored grape tomatoes, halved
- 2 lemons, zested
- 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan
- 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Heat the butter with the olive oil in a large skillet over a medium heat. When the butter has melted, add the shrimp, onion, garlic, chile flakes, salt and pepper, then cook until the onions are translucent and the shrimp are opaque, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the white wine, then allow it to boil and reduce slightly, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the zucchini noodles to the skillet. Cook until the zucchini is tender, about 2 more minutes. Add the tomatoes and lemon zest to the skillet, then toss to combine. Sprinkle over the Parmesan and garnish with the basil leaves. Remove the smashed garlic cloves and serve straight from the skillet.

Reviews
This is an absolutely delicious meal that can be made in 1 pan.
Loved it! Quick n Easy!
This was very easy and packed with flavor. I did bump up the amount of onion and added some fresh parsley with the basil since i had it on hand. Family enjoyed this and was a very nice change from pasta, and much lighter.
Really good, my husband loved it!
Great flavor. They did not have the pre spiraled zucchini in stock at the store. Did it myself so it was watery. I just drained it. Substituted wine for chicken stock. Will definitely make again!
Omg! Delish! I doubled the recipe since my family is larger. 4 out of 5 loved it! Definitely making this again…and so easy to make as well.
Amazing recipe! It will be a regular dinner in our house!!
My seven year old and I enjoyed this so much. Only notes: the sauce was a tad thin and I think my cooking times were less to avoid overcooking the shrimp and zoodles. Will definitely make again.
Made this for dinner and it was delicious! This is a lite, but filling, dinner!
Quick and easy lunch to prep for my work week!
