My daughter adores candy bars with chocolate and peanut butter. I had a little fun in the kitchen on her birthday. It is quite heavy and delicious, and very rich! She won’t ever return to the store-bought chocolates! I think this cake could be the best I’ve ever baked in terms of flavor.

Perfect simple recipe for simple applesauce. Loved it
Best I’ve ever had. Just need to increase to make lots more. Than you for sharing.
Delicious! I made a substitution of dates in place of the sugar. Worked out beautifully. Simple recipe used up some apples we didn’t care for, turned into a delicious applesauce to accompany both breakfast fruit plate for me and hubby’s pork chops tonight. Thanks!
yes i tripled the recipie..
I use your recipe about once a month for my family. It’s one of my favorite recipes. Thank you for sharing!
Very good. It’s just like how my grandmother used to make it. I especially like it warm.
Perfect. The only thing I changed was less water and sugar. The apples I used were fairly sweet on their own
Way too much water! Recipe did not work!
Great recipe! The only adjustments I made was instead of the sugar and amount directed, I added a tablespoon or two of brown sugar, a couple pinches of apple pie spice, as well as some Mrs. Wages fruit preserver (just a sprinkle) to keep the apples from turning too brown. I used a crockpot set on high for 30 minutes and then turned it down to low, cooked the apples for about three/four hours while I was doing other things around the house. Perfect!
Hi…I cannot stand apple sauce in a bottle…tastes n looks like baby food, ..but my client asked me to make some with his apples…so here goes…should say 1st time making it, in case ur wondering lol ….my thoughts, only use half as much water as recipe calls for..also, my client asked me to add 1sp. nutmeg…End result Boss loves it..that’s all that matters
Love this recipe. I also add berries to customize it a little. My daughter, and the kids at my daycare love this recipe. I add ice to a blender and blend it to speed up the cooling process sometimes. Turns out fine
I added a bit of cardamom as well.
Easy & delicious
Made it with Splenda and it was great tasting
Good & easy to make. Followed the recipe exactly except that I doubled it as I had 8 Fuji apples that needed to be used. Not too sweet as written in my opinion. Next time I might use some brown sugar along with the white and add a bit more cinnamon. But it’s still good as written!
it’s very good, I added more cinnamon after I made it, better than store bought that’s for sure
For some reason, the past few days I’ve been craving some applesauce. That’s why I decided to take it into my hands and make some. The recipe turned out to be amazing, besides requiring too much water which ultimately had to be strained. A very simple easy and delicious recipe, would recommend
Getting toward the end of the month and with a tight budget until the next month, i only had a gala apple. I used less water, sugar, and cinnamon. Turned out fantastically delicious and use some to substitute an egg and i was able make delicious pancakes for my 85 year old Mother for breakfast!
Perfectly simple recipe. Turned out great. Used Cosmic Crisp apples
Super easy. I made it without sugar. Apples were sweet enough.
Yum good easy
