Ingredients
- 1 pound broccoli florets, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chile oil
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Chinese black vinegar
- 1 teaspoon white sugar (Optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl. Arrange broccoli over the prepared sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until browned, about 20 minutes.
- Combine chile oil, soy sauce, black vinegar, and sugar in a bowl. Toss with the roasted broccoli.
- Crispy chile flakes may be substituted for the chile oil.
- While broccoli is baking, check occasionally for any burning.

This was good. A little spicy but still really good. The one thing I didn’t care for was how the nice and crisp broccoli got soggy once dressed but the flavor was good.
