Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons good olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour them on a sheet pan and roast for 35 to 40 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly. Sprinkle with more kosher salt ( I like these salty like French fries), and serve immediately.

Reviews
I really liked these. The sprouts had a wonderful texture and caramelization. I only roasted mine for 30 minutes and they were just right. I topped them with balsamic glaze. My family loved them.
I served this to my husband tonight (who previously has not liked brussel sprouts) and he loved them! Made this recipe as written. Delicious!
Delicious! Try with lemon pepper.. mmm..
Popular with everyone!
So very easy and very good!
Great, simple recipe. Delicious as is. Also lovely with chopped bacon, slivered almonds , and a dash of crushed red pepper mixed with some olive oil, salt and a few pinches of sugar added half way through.
Simple, delicious preparation for brussels. The family loved them.
This recipe is fantastic. But add bacon over the tops of the Brussels. You can thank me later.
PERFECT FOR MEDIUM SIZE PARTY. EVERYONE LOVED IT.
