This was a last minute addition to dinner this evening. I made it and only “soaked” it for an hour. It was very delicious! I’m sure the remaining part will be even better tomorrow. It was easy and well worth the effort!
Our favorite!
This recipe is amazing, exactly what it says it is.
worked out fine
very good taste. I cut the sugar back a bit. always my go to with pulled pork
Made it as written the first time and it was great !!
I made this recipe, because I am a sucker for creamy coleslaw with barbecue. I omitted the buttermilk, continue to mix the other ingredients together as directed. I added the coleslaw cabbage to the mixture, and then added 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing. It is amazing.
Used lime juice instead of lemon juice. Tasted great.
This recipe was amazing. I used dolce pre-mixed slaw and left out the buttermilk all together. I added an extra dash of vinegar and diced a tomato into it. I actually added 1/4 cup of milk and a little extra mayo because I had 10 cups of slaw all together rather than 8. I also added about a tablespoon of celery seed as well. This recipe has the perfect amount of thickness yet still juicy. Over all I loved it! I will definitely be saving this one.
I also add it to my chicken salad. I have made it for years.
Exactly how I like my slaw to taste. I think this is even better than the slaw at the “popular chicken restaurant”.
No changes made and will definitely make it again. A fast easy addition to grilled hotdog’s.
I like to use Publix tri-color slaw mix for the cabbage and carrots. It does make a little too much liquid after it has been in the fridge for a few hours, but if you use a fork or slotted spoon to serve it drains the excess off. Other than using the pre-chopped cabbage mix, I don’t change anything in this recipe.
Excellent. reduced amount of sugar to 1/4 C
We liked it. Used bagged cabbage and cut the sugar in half. It was very good and certainly smelled like KFC. Will make it often.
always a winner!
Absolutely delicious. Got rave reviews. Decreased sugar to 1/4 cup, used one package of shredded cabbage and carrots slaw mix, and added a dash or two of celery seed. Fabulous!
It really does taste like the National fast food chain
Taste just like the real thing!
It did taste just like KFC and everyone at the fish fry loved it.
Made this to eat with BBQ baby back ribs. My wife and I loved it and I’ll make it again !
