Sangria is one of the easiest cocktails to make, and I love this one featuring muscadine wine from right here on Wadmalaw Island. If you can’t find red muscadine wine where you live, you can substitute a fruity red wine like Grenache, Rioja or Zinfandel.

Ingredients
- One 750-milliliter bottle red muscadine wine, preferably Deep Water Vineyard
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 1 Gala or Honeycrisp apple, diced
- 1 orange, halved and sliced
- 1 cup red grapes, halved
Instructions
- Stir together the wine, orange juice, lemon juice, brandy and triple sec in a large pitcher. Add the apple, orange and grapes and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours or up to overnight. To serve, pour into ice-filled glasses.
