This salad is absolutely wonderful!!! My family loved it! I used fresh ingredients from our farmer’s market and it was perfect. Will make it again & again. Thanks, Rachael Ray.
I had a large apple so just used one. Added more radishes than called for. Dressing is amazing, but I did substitute plain yogurt for the sour cream. Great salad, will make frequently thru the summer.
This is one of the best, most refreshing salads I’ve ever served. Works easily for large groups as well. The dressing is outstanding – not too sweet, but very complimentary to the salad ingredients. I actually like to add some thinly sliced (shaved on the mandolin fennel to it as well. A very “clean” tasting salad. I would also add that white wine vinegar works as well as red wine vinegar and keeps everything nice, light and fresh.
I made this the first time this weekend for a memorial day BBQ. The host was serving grilled chicken breasts and pork loin. I’m from the mid-west and you always have applesauce or something apples with pork. I took this salad and got rave reviews. Even the host who can be tough to please raved about it. I will make it again and it will be a regular in my salad roatation.
this is the first year we have grown radishes in out garden. They are very spicy! The sour cream and apples really balance out the kick of the radishes. Light and delicious!
Wanted something a little different and found this salad. It was really good; a kind of surprising blend of flavors between the apple and radish. When I make it again, though, I think I’ll chop all the veggies and lettuce pretty small, instead of slicing everything. I think all the components of the salad will work together better that way.
Made this last night and had more than one serving. Even my wife, who’s not crazy about sour cream, enjoyed this dressing!
Very delicious and nutritious
Great recipe for that sweet sour. I only used the dill in the salad dressing and found the combination of ingredients wonderful!
salad was fabulous.if you put lemon on apples they stay fine for the next day. will make over and over again.
