We love it I’ve made this for one of my go to meals. The only thing I’ve changed is to add minnie baby bells for more color.

Great, easy recipe!. I added bay leaves, oregano, parsley, basil, cajun seasoning, extra can diced tomatoes and, used less rice. Excellent!

This was easy and quick, and my family really enjoyed it. I didn’t have crushed tomatoes, so I used diced tomatoes and a little tomato paste, and I added a few Bay leaves for extra flavor.

This is really good, really easy jambalaya. My only criticism is, I think they’re having you use WAY too much cooked rice. I would suggest adding in one cup at a time and then stopping when it looks like the desired consistency. I think if you just dumped in all the rice they suggest at once, it’s going to be way too much rice. A couple of other minor tweaks: – Use a lot more hot sauce than they suggest. I would recommend Frank’s Red Hot because it imparts a lot of flavor without too much heat. – You can pump up the flavor a little more by adding about a cup of chicken broth to the final product.

I might add a little more Tabasco, Chipotle, which is the brand i get overseas for hot sauce. I tend to cook light on salt, so husband added some. Loved fresh flavors, i got a good do on the sausage and shrimp. Great directions.

Turned out amazing! I couldn’t find crushed tomato so I used pasta sauce instead, and added some mushrooms in with the shrimp at the end. Wife loved it and was impressed with how quickly it was done!

Delicious. I put the jambalaya over the rice instead of mixing it in. Makes leftovers easier. I will definitely make it again but next time with a little more sausage and a little less rice.

Totally excellent. Totally fast. I will definitely make this again. Not spicy at all but that is easily fixed with more pepper sauce.

I made this tonight and it turned out GREAT!! I made some small changes with seasonings and pepper choices but I love this recipe. My girls are standing in line waiting for a plate!! Hubby’s not home yet, but I’m sure he’ll love it!! It was super fast and very easy.

Turned out very good. Easy too. I also substituted andouille sausage. Next time I make it, I might add chicken too. It’s a keeper.

Just about as good as the Jambalaya you take all day to make. Next time I make it, I’ll spice it up a little more – but that’s just personal preference.
Ricky Perez
I thought it was rather bland but I will try it again with some of the spices suggested by other reviews. Also thought the sauce was too thick and tomato-y so will thin it out maybe with chicken stock.
