Reviews
4 stars because of prep info.
Additional prep Info…
1. The potato can be idaho or sweet
2. Either can be peeled or not…just clean
3. Slicing the raw potato…cut a thin slice off bottom and then each end. Put the potato on a cutting board BETWEEN CHOPSTICKS. The chopsticks prevent from slicing down too much per slice…keeps the potato whole
4. Pre-bake prep…pastry brush into oil…try to oil inside of each cut…then outside
5. Bake…per temp and time as typical recipes suggest
Personally, just before serving, sprinkle top of each baked potato with cooked n crumbled fresh bread crumbs or bacon bits…cold cheese or brown sugar…bake in oven 2-3 mintes.
