So delicious. The mayo with garlic gave it a nice creamy flavor. Along with the oregano. Mmmm, perfect
Really freaking good!! Thank you.
Really really liked. Used sirloin. Did add a little extra garlic to the Mayo and while not “traditional” – used ciabatta buns I need to use up. Would make again! Thanks Tara!
This recipe was great, but I changed a few things. We are trying to save a bit on money and used a flank steak we had instead of round eye, which turned out perfectly fine if you cut off the large pieces of fat and grizzle, I seasoned the meat with montreal steak seasoning first after slicing it super thin, I used chili oil in with the mayo, and I used provolone and american cheese with it. Was delicious!
Garlic Mayo was an awesome addition!
The cheesesteak was amazing. I added mushrooms to mine because I like them. My husband added jalapeños to his. The garlic Mayo was delicious. I added a little more garlic, because I love garlic. We will definitely have this again.
I was skeptical about the garlic mayonnaise but omg it was amazing! I didn’t change a thing. The whole family loved them and we will be making it again and again.
I did some improvising by using ground beef, adding mushrooms, and serving on brioche buns. These were incredibly messy but deeply delicious! next time, I believe I’ll add banana peppers as well
I’m not very good at cooking and my SO is picky, but we both liked it. I didn’t have bell peppers but it worked out great.
Not exactly a Philly Cheesesteak, but sure is delicious. I cooked the veggies and meat together and added 1/2 cup of mozzarella to the mixture prior to baking.
I only used one onion but did use two green bell peppers. Very delicious.
I only had yellow peppers and…still delicious!
Tastes great every time my fiance makes it!
Be sure to butter and toast the buns.
Awesome! Twin 10 year, picky eater boys devoured this! Nothing left for me unfortunately. No onions or peppers though. I didn’t even try that, maybe one day. Substituted provolone cheese slices.
Very easy to make and delicious
Perfect! My husband said it was the best philly cheese steak he has ever had. I bought thin sliced beef made specifically for philly cheese steaks. I seasoned it with steak seasoning and let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes. I added in 2 diced jalopenos with the onions and bell peppers and I sautéd the vegetables in the pan first. Once they were soft then I added the meat. I didn’t have to add in salt, just pepper. Definitely doing this again!
Need to cut the steak into smaller pieces
This was terrible. I have never posted ever. This is no goo.
This was delicious! I will be making this again!!
This sandwich was AMAZE. And the garlic mayo was super easy and really added major flavor to the sandwich as a whole. I used steak tips for this sandwich, and had not had time to thaw them out so I put them in a heated skillet with some oil – fried them up and wa-lah! Philly Cheesesteak delight!
