Reviews
Excellent taste! Made with reduced sugar dark sweet cherries.
Ugh. Use peach pie filling not canned peaches.
Loved it! Made half recipe which cooks faster. Used jiffy honey cornbread mix. Might melt butter and drizzle over mix next time.
It’s the cornbread mix period… the fact that it’s not being mixed!! This recipe is WAY better with a cake mix. Leave the cornbead muffin mix to that….not this!
It’s tasty, however, the cornbread mix I used, Jiffy, I felt, was a bit grainy. Might make this recipe again, but try with a different cornbread mix. Anyone have another cornbread mix suggestion?
Add a jigger of amaretto about 15 minutes before it comes out of the oven. You won’t be sorry!
Wonderful
It was very dry. I’m going to try again in an 8×8 dish with only 1 box of muffin mix.
My Auntie Gail recently tried this recipe and we all loved it! So easy to dump!!
Absolutely delish!! My fam loved it! Served with vanilla ice cream! Add 1 more can of peaches for fruitier dish!
