Absolutely delicious! I used fresh broccoli and added butter and garlic to the pan. Absolutely delicious!

This is an excellent recipe, however, we preferred fresh broccoli instead of the frozen broccoli. It’s a similar price and makes the recipe taste so much better!

How can broccoli be this good? I steamed fresh broccoli for maybe 2 or 2.5 minutes in a Corning ware bowl with a little water in the microwave. Then cooked as directed. My picky son asked for more!!! The combination of a little crispy and the heat of the red pepper flakes was a huge win! Thank you so much for a simple basic delicious way to eat broccoli!!!

I made this using fresh broccoli, garlic-infused olive oil and Garlic & herb seasoning to taste in addition to the crushed red pepper. When I added the olive oil to the pan, some of the minced garlic came out of the bottle into the pan, so I left it. If you like garlic as much as I do, it definitely added to the flavor nicely. I just added a few turns of the sea salt grinder right before taking it off the heat and it turned out awesome!

I followed the direction but broccoli was soggy

Have sometimes added dried onions, and usually use garlic salt instead of plain salt. So easy and good.

This is nice and flavorful. Just make sure you are careful with the portion for the red pepper. I added too much once and the odor was so powerful I had to leave the kitchen.

Pretty easy added minced garlic and cheddar cheese! Also a little lighter on the crushed red pepper!

Very good. Instead of “fried”, I would describe this recipe as pan roasted. I used fresh broccoli and I added fresh minced garlic for the last few minutes per another reviewer’s recommendation. This recipe is now my “go to” recipe for cooked broccoli.

delicious have only a few “cooked” vegetables that my family will eat so looking for different recipes for one they do eat.

I combined to reviewer’s comments and added 1 tsp. bacon fat and 1 garlic clove. Will definitely make many more times to come.

My daughter won’t eat it because I used the red peppers next time I’ll remember to add them to mine after serving. I followed the recipe and just added minced garlic and some orange bell pepper. It’s not my first time making this recipe but it’s my first photo lol

This was great but I used fresh broccoli olive oil with some butter to sauté. Let the broccoli cook longer so it had a bit of a char. Very tasty.

I was great with the pacific cod…I added Parmesan. my wife didn’t care for the red pepper flakes but I thought it was perfect

Keep a close watch. Today we are using black pepper and salt substitute.

Don’t over think it… sautéed garlic, onion, crushed pepper in olive oil. Add 16 oz. frozen broccoli . 7 minutes later, add a little butter and parm. Sea salt and BOOM! Done! Hubby asked for seconds??Another keeper!

Simple, tasty and no water to drain. Yes please!

This was so quick and easy! Modified a bit by using ghee (clarified butter). Sautéed chopped onions and garlic, seasoned with dash of sea salt, black pepper and red chili flakes. Then added a teaspoon of low sodium soy sauce. Hubby loved it too. Yum!

This is a good change from boiled broccoli that delivers a lot of flavor in a healthy way. Frying the broccoli seemed to make it taste sweeter. When I made it the second time I used butter flavored olive oil (mail order from the smiling olive). I used fresh ground black pepper instead of the red pepper flakes, and used a salt free spice blend instead of salt. We liked this too. My vegetable hater cleaned his plate!

Used fresh broccoli, kept everything else the same. Delicious! Will definitely make again!

I used fresh broccoli and added some fresh mushrooms while cooking. My husband and I really liked it. I will be making it again! I think next time I will add some grated cheese, as others suggested.
