4.5 stars, rounded up, only for lack of a mention of an orange wheel or pineapple slice as garnish. To the … distinguished “miserdd”, please know what you’re talking about before you critique others. *Cream* of coconut is, indeed, quite opaque white. Coconut *water* is likely what you’re thinking of, as it is mostly clear. Please disregard their 3-star rating, as it’s likely they have never made a mixed drink in their life. Your finished drink will likely be somewhere between white and light orange, depending on the concentrations of your Cream of Coconut, Pineapple Juice, and Orange Juice.

Long Term fan of the Painkiller, best alcoholic mix you could ever ask for, however, it is a crime to put it in a tall glass. Get yourself a tin mug, preferably a Pusser’s Mug, it is just the right size for this on ice, and it feels more authentic.

The picture shows a white drink but there is nothing white in a Painkiller. Cream of Coconut is clear the other items are an orangish color.

When one of my favorite bands sings a song that has the lines of: “You’re blowin’ my mind, like a painkiller, like a painkiller”; they were clearly referring to this drink. I mean, this truly is mind-blowingly good. It’s coconutty, fruity, and very very smooth to drink. These could be really dangerous if you’re not careful! Thank you so much for the recipe, I very much look forward to making these again!
