At a friend’s house, I tried these cookie bars, and I immediately requested the recipe. These bars couldn’t be any simpler to make, yet being so rich and indulgent.

Reviews
These are an easy alternative to brownies and were a hit at my friends Super Bowl party. Like the other reviewer, I left out the coconut and was happy with the results.
Just as the recipe submitter states, these are super easy to make. I chose to only add 1/2 cup coconut, wish I hadn’t added any at all, since the family didn’t care for the coconut in these bars. They are similar to brownies but are overly sweet, gooey and sticky). Thank you for the recipe!
