Oreo Cookie Bark

  4.7 – 197 reviews  • White Chocolate

a recipe I developed after experimenting and tinkering. The spices are given room to show while retaining a distinct honey flavor. I occasionally add chocolate powder for that mellow flavor. I sincerely hope you enjoy this recipe, which was one of the first ones I was able to nicely alter.

Servings: 50
Yield: 3 -1/2 pounds

Ingredients

  1. 1 (20 ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies with creme filling
  2. 2 (18.5 ounce) packages white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Line a 10×15-inch jellyroll pan with waxed paper. Coat paper with non-stick vegetable spray and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, break half of the cookies into coarse pieces with fingers or the back of a wooden spoon.
  3. In a microwave-safe glass or ceramic mixing bowl, melt one package of the white chocolate according to package directions. Remove from microwave and quickly fold in broken cookie pieces. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread to cover half the pan.
  4. Repeat process with remaining chocolate and cookies, spreading mixture into the other half of pan. Refrigerate until solid, about 1 hour.
  5. Remove bark from the pan and carefully peel off waxed paper. Place bark on a large cutting board and cut with a large chef’s knife. Store in airtight container.

Everyone loved these. They were super easy to make. To crush the oreos, I put them in a zip lock back and pounded them with my meat hammer. The key is to get them into small pieces but not tiny crumbs. I only had a short time to prepare this and fortunately, it set in the refrigerator really fast.

This was pretty good! I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate, so I did half the cookies with semisweet chocolate and it was the biggest hit in our family. Next time I think I’ll use all chocolate instead of white!

This stuff is like cookies and cream icecream that doesn’t melt. It’s rich and full of crunch and chocolate!

Delicious!!! If you love Oreo cookies and white chocolate, this is the treat for you. Perfect for a quick dessert. Very easy to make. Make sure you add a little more white chocolate because it can get to chunky. I used three packages of white chocolate from Ghirardelli. This is an awesome recipe for the holidays because you can use the Oreos with the orange or chocolate filling for Halloween or Thanksgiving, as well as the Oreos with the red filling for Christmas, New Years, or even Valentine’s Day.

Best tasting stuff on this planet! Message to “lowcarbpro”: Did anyone intimate this was low carb???????

Super easy to make, thought the white chocolate can get a little expensive. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on this one in my Christmas treat basket, the people who like it are addicted. I cut my oreos in quarters and carefully fold in so that the white chocolate doesn’t get that “dirty” look. This one’s a keeper.

How incredible would this be made with the Oreo Mint cookies! I can’t wait to try it.

Used white chocolate candy wafers (Merkins) and the normal Oreos and they taste and look great. A little sweet because of the white chocolate. I think next time I would use milk or dark chocolate to help cut down on the sweetness. Definitely cut in small pieces because of the richness and sweetness. Would make again.

Super easy & delicious! We are not big fans of white chocolate but we could not stop eating it! I didn’t spray the wax paper & it still came off.
